Sending gifting items just got easier on farmville?

Is this an error or is zynga being generious with their gifting lately?  It seems to have gotten so easy to request and be sent back gifts that nobody seems to even be requesting items, they are just sending them and are able to get them back and forth several times, no limit on how many thank yous that are sent out.

Lets say you send somebody a request for every item you need for your botanical garden, you can actually request it more than once to somebody, they can accept and send you a thank you for every item without having to wait at least two hours like you had to before.  Is this an error on zynga's behalf, or are they just being generous?
