How do I get a neighbor unstuck from my farm

If a neighbor comes to your farm and gets stuck all you need to do is buy a dinner bell and/or a triangle bell.  When you ring the bell or triangle, your friends and family will gather around the bell.  You can than except the friends help, or deny it if you wish and they will than be unstuck.  If they already did the job and are just stuck, usually this happens around the tree, you have to wait for the tree to be ready or deny them.

I like to keep them on the farm though and ring the bell, its fun to watch my husband come to me whenever I call him. The Dinner bell costs 5 horse shoes and the Triangle Dinner bell costs 10,000 coins.

FrontierVille Tip - How to get tools

Sometimes it can take days to have your neighbors and friends send you those tools you need to build your cottage and other buildings.  Lets say your best friend needs the tools for a cottage but you don't, although, they have the same number of friends you do who are the same friends.  What you do is you have each of your neighbor's send you a free gift of paint, hammer, nails and drill.  Between the two of you you should be able to collect the tools needed for at least one person in a day.

Now that you have the tools needed to build a cottage, just simply gift these to your friend through their a) ladder or b) in your inventory you can gift items to them by clicking on the gift icon below the tool.

Now the big question, what are the tools for that you send to people after you finish visiting their farm.  These tools are used for building the crib for the baby, they cannot be broken down like they are for the buildings.

FrontierVille - Harvesting tip

TIP:
Did you know when you need to harvest a crop, for example, lets say a goal is to harvest 50 wheat.  When you visit a neighbor's farm, if they have wheat and you harvest it the wheat will be counted.

If you go to a neighbor's farm and water their crops, but do not harvest it, the time for the crop to be harvested will be cut in half...who knows, just maybe they will return the favor.

FrontierVille...Will it replace FarmVille?

The other day my nephew talked me into trying out FrontierVille and I have been playing it ever since.  Since figuring out most of the plays in FarmVIlle and getting to level 61, frontierville is Farmville and FarmTown rolled into one with a fun RPG game twist to it.

Visiting farms is different than in FarmVille and what I mean by different is visiting a friends farm is more fruitful in earning and enjoyment.  If you would like to know what quests you are going to have to do to start your family, you can visit TheFaceBookInsider for the game spoiler.

Will FrontierVille replace your playing of FarmVille? For myself, no, because when you run out of energy you end up playing FarmVille until you fuel up on more energy.  Because of FrontierVille being so new in beta the game acts screwy most of the time so patience is a must until the game is fixed.

How to get your baby animals to become adults everytime

Today I tended three of my four nursery barns, and so far every single one of my nurseries produced an adult animal, two holstein cows and one cream draft horse.  Unless farmville has done something so that we produced adult animals everytime, the other possibility could be by not adding a new calf or foal to your nursery every time you recieve a new adult animal.  Give this a try and let me know if you are getting the same results.

You can now expand your dairy farm

Elizabeth is trying to build a bigger Dairy Farm so they can hold more cows! They still need the help of 10 more friend(s)!

Finally you can now expand your dairy farm the same way you expand any type of storage.  Now you can save room and get rid of a few of those extra dairy farms.  Now all farmville needs to do is expand the nursery barn instead of threatening to delete the extra ones we have.

How do I get my black stallion foal to grow up in the nursery barn?

Check list for this process
Empty Nursery barn (Click here for this explanation)
One black stallion foal

Process.

1. Put one ready calf or foal in empty nursery barn to make it ready (use move function to move ready animal or else it will harvest it instead of moving it)

2. Now place your Black stallion Foal in ready nursery barn.

3. Take out the Foal or calf you originally placed in the nursery to make it ready.

4. Tend or harvest nursery Barn with just the black stallion foal in it.

If you have more then one black stallion foal, do not put them all together in nursery barn. It will reduce your chances of growing up Black stallion and will increase chances of getting you another adult animal from your nursery barn. Also by just putting one Black stallion foal in barn, it will be much easier since you don't have to move many animals in and out of nursery barn so you can take more chances to grow up Black stallion.

Some people reported if you sell your old Nursery barn and make new one and do above process you will get an adult Black stallion in no time.  You do not need to sell your nursery barn to buy another one.  As long as your nursery barn is complete you can start a new one, I have four barns already.

UPDATE FROM ZYNGA CUSTOMER HELP WEBSITE: Multiple Nursery Barns Updated 06/15/2010 04:06 PM A glitch has come to our attention that allows users to have more than one Nursery Barn. This is not the intended functionality of this feature. We are intending on fixing this issue in the future; however, we have decided to allow users to have the ability to possess two Nursery Barns on their farm. Please know that if you continue to take advantage of this glitch and choose to have more than two nurseries on your farm, you are building at your own risk. This issue will be addressed in the near future and this fix may result in the loss of any Nursery Barns in excess of two.

Farmville trick - Tend your nursery, stable and chicken coop several times a day

There is a trick to getting your nursery, even your chicken coop, that is if you have the patience.  I call this real farm work because it takes time and is very tedious.   Lets do this with the nursery since it only holds 20 baby animals.

1. Remove all of your baby animals
2. Select the hand tool, if you use the arrow tool you will harvest your animal and it will not work.
3. Select a baby animal that is ready to harvest and place it FIRST into the nursery.  Now you will notice that your nursery is ready to harvest.
4. Now you want to place all of the animals back into the nursery before tending the nursery, or at least 10 foal.

You will be able to now harvest your nursery...but...you will not get a adult horse every time.  If you want, you can do this with the horse barn with just a few animals, such as ten horses with the wandering stallion.  If you wish to have a better chance in getting grown horses every time, than you are better off placing common foal and calf in the nursery...aka...black pony foal or Holstein calf.

Happy 1year Birthday Farmville

Today is Farmville's birthday and in celebration you get a hot air birthday balloon and are able to adopt a birthday duck.

For coins and cash you can also set-up your farmville birthday scene, but that's not all.  Farmville, for a limited time, is offering the cupcake co-op job with the prize of a birthday sheep.  The co-op job's task is to grow the new 600 cupcakes seeds.  BTW, the cupcakes are not a limited time job.

Farmville has finally made buildings rotatable

Not all of the buildings are rotable, only some.  You can also buy an extra farmer's market stand, which means, you can only purchase up to six.  The old stands will not rotate so that means if you do want to rotate them you need to sell them and re-purchase new ones.

Not everything is rotatable, hopefully they will be soon, like the barns, nursery and horse stables are not rotatable but most of the homes are.

Dog's are now able to harvest your crops

Farmville has finally made it possible to let your dogs harvest, although I am not sure how the dog harvesting works, I did not even bother training the dog yet since it does take seven biscuits.  It did say "harvest coming soon" and we all know that coming soon and coming soon to Zynga could mean a few more months.  We have to be happy though that they have been on the ball and are throwing new things our way left and right.

If you haven't taught your dog this trick yet, now is the time to do so.  Request those doggy biscuits and train, that is if you have not done so yet.  If you have trained your dog to harvest already, could somebody please enlighten me and let me know how the dog harvests?

Another thing that is bugging me is that my first dog is gone, the one that cost only 30,000 coins.  I thought maybe it got lost because I'm always redecorating my farm and than I realized it just disappeared!  Has anybody else experienced this or if you know why, please leave a comment and let us know.

New co-op job and limited edition island theme

Lastnight farmville introduced their limited edition Island Theme to give you that feeling of being on vacation.  Tonight they offered a few more items to go with the theme.  What is nice this time around is that you can purchase a few extra items with coins, unlike the tuscan theme where you could only purchase one building.

There is the new co-op mission, a tea party, grow tea and sugar cane and the prize is a tea party.  Don't forget that these are hints, like the frantic for flowers where you recieved the wedding gezebo, hint hint.  Also, do not forget to check out the limited edition flowers, pink hibiscus and the flamingo flowers.

I sure do hope they come out with the underground storage that I heard about, the one that allows 200 items to be stored because most of these limited editions end up being sold.  How many of you actually save every limited edition item?  What does limited edition on farmville mean besides that in a week to 30 days you are unable to purchase it again?  Does it mean that they will be worth fv cash down the road?  The longer I save it the more it is worth like a cabbage patch doll or beanie baby?  Uhoh I think farmville was just given a new idea, LOL!

Combining co-op with farmer's market into a bakery, winery or spa

Farmville introduced the new jobs, turning bushels into either, perfume, cake or wine, you choice of one of the three jobs.  Now if you are able to combine the jobs together, this is what you would have.

When you join the co-op job of pumpkin pie o'plenty,  will soon be able to turn crop bushels into delicious pies and cakes in FarmVille! To celebrate you get a Chef Gnome from your neighbor/friend!

When you join the frantic for flowers co-op - You will soon be able to turn crop bushels into aromatic perfumes and candles in FarmVille! To ...celebrate Leonardo is giving away a commemorative Spa Gnome!

When you join the co-op job fashion grapes, you will soon be able to turn crop bushels into delicious wines and juices in FarmVille! To celebrate you get a commemorative Bacchus Gnome!

Between the co-op job, farmer's market and now this new job, you would be making out in coins pretty well.  Now what should we do with all of these coins do you suppose?  It would be nice to convert them into FV bucks, even if it cost one million coins, i'm sure people would be doing it.
