Mustang Foal now goes into nursery - Foal update

Tonight I decided to see if farmville fixed it so that the mustang foal would go into the nursery barn and sure enough it went in.  Unable to contain my excitement I noticed that when you hover the mouse over it it just says mustang foal but doesn't say what it produces like the other foals.  Also, the tuscan calf does the same thing, it says tuscan calf but does not say what it produces.

If the mustang foal did grow up, that would be awesome because it does breed a different type of horse in your horse stable depending on what you have in your stable. although it may be some time before I find out or not.

NOTE: There where so many glitches with catching one that nobody was getting the emails to wrangle up the mustang.  It makes sense to at least let a few people who did try to wrangle up a mustang to at least let their foal grow up.

Also foals are growing up more often, for a bit it looked like everyother day but now I had actually got the pleasure of getting two cream and a light blue horse so far.  Has anybody noticed that most of the horses just grow up to black horses?  This is a real bummer, my Appaloosa is going to grow up into a black horse?  What is the point since you can snag 100 black foals daily without a problem!

How to get particular baby animals to grow up in your Nursery

If you place random foals and calf in your nursery, you probably have noticed that you did not get what you really wanted.  You probably won't get exactly what you want, and I am not even sure if you will harvest a horse every time.  There is a good chance it will be random like when harvesting the dairy farms, sometimes you get nothing and sometimes you get a prize.  We will find out though after harvesting for a few days, or possibly even by the second day.

There is a simple little way around this, and it's simple.  Lets say you want the pinto horse really bad, than just place all the pinto foals in your nursery and come harvest time, abracadabra, you have a adult Pinto Horse.

NOTE: Don't forget though, you need empty spots in your dairy farm and horse stable to be able to receive your adult foal or calf.

HOw to get your foals and calf to grow up in your farmville nursery

When you now harvest your nursery it will say tend instead of collect like it used to.  This is because now your foals and calf can grow into adults.  Today my baby green calf grew into a chocolate cow and this is how I think it worked:

Since Saturday I have been trying to get my baby animals to grow into adults for a few days, than somebody told me it works for them all the time.  The person who told me this has a smaller farm and her horse stable is nearly empty.  I decided to see what would happen so I bought another dairy farm and took out 20 of my horses.  Sure enough today my green calf became the chocolate cow.  Although it was disappointing because I really wanted a grown Clydesdale, or even possibly a black pony foal.

If you haven't  done so, you need to either buy your nursery and horse stable, or build it.  For more information on building your nursery click here, these instructions apply also for the horse stable. To gift all the items needed for building click here, this is a list of gifting the Wooden Board, brick, nail, horseshoe and Harness.
